Important Information about Boston Conservatory at Berklee Commencement 2020

Congratulations to the parents and families of 2020 graduates! This is a very busy and exciting time for your student, and we wanted to share with you this information about some important dates leading up to commencement 2020.

The 2020 commencement ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 9 at 4:00 p.m. It will take place at the Berklee Performance Center and will be approximately two hours in length. A reception will follow in the 160 Massachusetts Avenue building. All students will be given three tickets to the commencement ceremony. Please note that students do not need a ticket for the commencement ceremony.

Tickets for the commencement ceremony will be available for pick up in late April at the Registrar’s Office, located on the second floor of 939 Boylston Street. After all tickets have been claimed, students will have the option to request additional tickets through a wait-list system, although there is no guarantee that requests for additional tickets will be fulfilled. More information about ticket pick-up will be made available in a few weeks.

Students need to order their cap, gown, and diploma by Friday, March 6; instructions on how to do this have been sent to their berklee.edu email account. There are no fees associated with ordering these items.

A class photo is scheduled to take place promptly at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 9. The photo will be taken in 132 Ipswich Street, room 106. Students should plan to arrive no later than 1:15 p.m. Please note that the photo will be taken without caps and gowns.

You can find more information about commencement weekend on the Conservatory's commencement page.
