Nina Gojcaj
Nina Gojcaj (she/her) is a classically trained mezzo-soprano and experienced arts professional whose work spans performance, education, and music direction. Before joining the Career Center, she performed with Detroit Opera in Aida: in Concert, received the 2023 Audience Choice Award in the Opera MODO Detroit Aria Competition, and appeared in master classes with internationally renowned artists, including Lawrence Brownlee and Sandra Piques-Eddy. Her stage credits include Hippolyta in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Aloès in Chabrier’s L’Étoile, and the First Prioress in Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites.
Alongside her stage work, Gojcaj has taught private voice and piano lessons and served as a music director, mentoring young musicians across classical and contemporary styles. At Berklee’s Career Center, she draws on her diverse background to guide students in exploring career opportunities in performance, education, and beyond.
She holds a Master of Music in opera performance from Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Oakland University, where she participated in the Oakland Chorale, the opera program, the vocal jazz ensemble, and Sigma Alpha Iota, the international music fraternity for women.
Nina is passionate about helping students discover their artistic voice and build meaningful, sustainable careers in the music industry.
