Rachel Walsh
Rachel Walsh (she/her) is a singer-songwriter and performer from Ireland, known for her vibrant pop sound and compelling live presence. With a career spanning several years, she has achieved notable success in the Irish music scene, including four No. 1 singles on the Irish charts.
Rachel began her career in primary school education, where she created after-school music programs that encouraged young students to explore creativity through music. In the summer of 2024, she moved to Chicago to pursue her artistic ambitions. She has since performed at a wide range of venues and festivals, blending Irish folk influences, contemporary pop, and her own original compositions to create engaging live performances that connect deeply with audiences.
In addition to her performance career, Rachel is dedicated to music education and community engagement. She has taught private piano and guitar lessons, as well as group classes, for more than a decade. Her passion for choral music led her to join the National Children’s Chorus in Chicago, and she continues this work with the organization’s Boston chapter, supporting the next generation of young singers.
Beyond her professional life, Rachel enjoys attending musicals and concerts and participating in dance classes. Her unique combination of musical talent, teaching experience, and commitment to education makes her an inspiring mentor and collaborator. She is excited to share her insights and support students in their artistic journeys.
