Biography

Career Communities: Performance

Danielle Vitullo-DeJordy (she/her) is a classically trained vocalist, singer-songwriter, and higher education professional with a background in arts nonprofits, and live music. Prior to joining the Career Center team, she spent several years in Professional Performance Division as an administrator where she led the growth and development of several programs such as the Effortless Mastery Institute and Berklee Theater Arts Collaborative. She is focused on delivering an effective, engaging, holistic, and empathetic student experience as she mentors and guides them along their individual career journeys.

As assistant director, career engagement and programs, she serves as the team lead for our suite of Berklee industry exploration trips (Nashville, Silicon Valley, NYC, Atlanta, LA), and has led and developed the Berklee on Broadway NYC Spring Break trip for the last five years. She is actively engaged in creating and facilitating career programming and events as well as career education. She is also a working vocal performer as a soprano soloist for local events with the Gilded Harps. She’s previously performed throughout New England’s rock music scene as a lead singer in several local bands and grew up performing in both musical theater and opera. She hopes to bring a multifaceted approach to helping our students discover and achieve their life and career goals.

She holds a B.M. in music business from Ithaca College and an M.S. in nonprofit management from Northeastern University where she focused on arts administration. Outside of Berklee, this former Upstate New Yorker likes to spend her time raising her young family, enjoying the great outdoors, seeing musicals, and snuggling her orange kitty companion, Otto.
