Brit Holbert (she/her) is a classically trained singer and pop-rock songwriter, as well as an experienced admissions recruitment professional. Prior to joining the Career Center, she worked in admissions recruitment at Berklee College of Music, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and University of Massachusetts, Lowell. With a passion for coaching and advising students as they explore new and exciting career paths, she brings the perspectives of both the classical and contemporary music industries.
She currently oversees the administration of the internship program and is part of the employer engagement team in the Career Center. In her role, she advises students across all the career communities and supports the employer engagement and internship/job opportunity strategies.
She holds a Bachelor of Music in music business with an emphasis in music licensing and a Master of Education in higher education, where she focused on student psychology as it relates to self-efficacy, student development, and leadership. Her experiences in the music industry, recruiting, and mentoring contribute to her approach when guiding others toward futures in music, whether it be educational endeavors, internships, or career opportunities.
On a personal note, she enjoys spending time at her family lake house in New Hampshire; producing new music with her partner, John; and cooking and baking under the close supervision of her curious kitten, Baloo.
