Brit Holbert
Brit Holbert (she/her) is a classically trained singer and pop-rock songwriter, as well as an experienced professional in student recruitment. Prior to joining the Career Center, she worked in student recruitment at Berklee College of Music, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and University of Massachusetts, Lowell. With a passion for coaching and guiding students as they explore new and exciting career paths, she brings the perspectives of both the classical and contemporary music industries.
Brit currently leads the operations of the internship program and serves as a key partner, connecting with industry partners through her work with the Employer Engagement team in the Career Center. In her role, she advises students across all the career communities and supports the employer engagement and internship/job opportunity strategies.
She holds a Bachelor of Music in music business with an emphasis in music licensing and a Master of Education in higher education, where she focused on student psychology as it relates to self-efficacy, student development, and leadership. Her experiences in the music industry, recruiting, and mentoring contribute to her approach when guiding others toward futures in music, whether it be educational endeavors, internships, or career opportunities.
