Funding Opportunities for Career Advancement

The Berklee Career Center offers fellowship funding to support students pursuing meaningful experiences that advance their artistic and professional development. Whether you're completing an internship or leading a student-initiated project, these funding opportunities are designed to help you gain experience, build your portfolio, expand your professional network, and take the next step toward your career goals.

Fellowship Funding is available through two opportunities:

Internship Funding supports students participating in eligible internship experiences that provide hands-on professional learning.
- Undergraduate and graduate students in any major/program from the Boston, New York City, and Valencia, Spain, campuses can apply.
- Students must be eligible for and enrolled in an academic internship course.
- Applicants must have an approved internship verified through the Berklee Career Center.
The David Friend Student Fellowship Fund supports high-impact, student-led projects that have potential for professional transition.
- Candidates will be selected based on the following attributes:
  - Demonstrated academic excellence and significant engagement in creative extracurriculars
  - Forward-thinking entrepreneurial goals and creative vision
  - Strong personal drive and effective self-marketing as an artist
  - Specific project-based financial requirements
