Ten Berklee Alumni Nominated for Latin Grammy Awards

Berklee alumni are recognized across a variety of categories ranging from Record of the Year to Best Tropical Song.

Ten Berklee alumni have received Latin Grammy nominations for performing, songwriting, production, engineering, and mixing across a variety of categories ranging from Record of the Year to Best Tropical Song. The 19th annual Latin Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 15, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be broadcast live on Univision.

Since the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences founded the awards in 2000, 33 Berklee alumni or faculty have received 89 Latin Grammy Awards. Previous winners who were nominated again this year include Gavin Lurssen B.M. ‘90, Sebastián Schon ‘85, Marta Gómez B.M. ‘02, Gustavo Borner ’89, Justin Moshkevich B.M. ‘07, Nick Baxter ‘07, and 18-time Latin Grammy winner Juan Luis Guerra B.M. ‘82.
