Deputy for Equity and Title IX Intake and Support
Biography

Amanda Bedford has served as deputy for equity and Title IX intake and support since May 2021. In this role, Bedford meets with parties involved with an equity matter to identify resources, explain the equity process, and provide support measures. In addition, she supervises the roster of intake officers and provides leadership around programming, training, and professional development on behalf of the Equity team.

Prior to taking on her current role, Bedford had served as administrative coordinator for the Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (CDEI) since June 2018. She quickly established herself as an invaluable member of the CDEI. When not at work, Bedford is also very involved with the Footlight Club, a local amateur theater in Jamaica Plain. She brings great insight from her experience as a performing artist and producer to her work at Berklee.
