Biography

Sarah Onori started at Berklee as a deputy for equity and Title IX investigations in July 2022. In April 2023, she became the assistant vice president for equity and Title IX/Title IX coordinator.

She earned her B.A. in sociology and communications from Boston College and her J.D. from Northeastern University. As a practicing attorney, she held roles at the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and the City of Boston, where she developed an interest in Title IX and equity. She then worked as a Title IX and equity investigator at Northeastern University.

Onori comes to Berklee from Georgetown University, where she served as Title IX and civil rights investigator and deputy Title IX coordinator. She conducted Title IX and civil rights investigations, updated university policies, oversaw mediations and informal resolution processes, and presented trainings for faculty, staff, and students.

In her downtime, Onori enjoys traveling, watching the latest movies and TV shows, and checking out a concert.
