Biography

Alexandra "Ally" Gago (she/her) is the graduate assistant for sexual and relationship violence prevention. She supports the Equity Office by planning, implementing, and evaluating sexual and relationship violence prevention programs, events, and workshops. She also develops Equity Office social media content, writes campus-wide communications, and works as an intake officer. Gago received her Bachelor of Arts in women's and gender studies from Wellesley College, and she is currently enrolled in the MPH program at Boston University's School of Public Health, focusing on health communication and promotion with a concentration in sex, sexuality, and gender. At Wellesley, she was a member of the Sexual Health Educators (SHEs), a peer health educator organization focused on providing peers with medically accurate and inclusive sexual health education. Gago has a passion for reproductive justice, and she designed engaging and inclusive sexual health programming with Wellesley's Office of Student Wellness, as well as facilitated bystander intervention training with Wellesley's Title IX Office. She received her Certified Peer Educator (CPE) training through NASPA in 2018. She can be reached at agago@berklee.edu
