False Allegations

Anyone who knowingly makes a report or a statement or knowingly submits false information as part of any process described herein that is later found to have been materially false and made in bad faith may be subject to disciplinary action. This provision does not apply to reports made in good faith, even if the facts alleged in the report are not substantiated by an investigation.

No complaint will be considered “false” solely because it cannot be corroborated.
