Berklee College of Music Board of Trustees Chair William M. Davis has announced the appointment of Pamela (Dent) Roller '95 to the board.
A resident of Nashville, Roller has worked for 12 years with Boston-based Executive Perspectives, a provider of strategic business simulation software and training for Fortune 100 company executives. The company's senior project manager for new product development, Roller works with clients throughout the U.S., Canada, the former Soviet Union, Latin America, and Europe.
For the past two years, Roller, who was a Professional Music major at Berklee, has served as the Nashville Berklee alumni coordinator, helping to strengthen ties between Berklee and the alumni in the Nashville area. Recent projects she has spearheaded include a Nashville alumni directory and the current development of a Nashville web site.
"It's vital that the perspective of our alumni is well represented among the trustees, our top policy-setting body," said Berklee President Lee Eliot Berk. "Pamela Roller has an important, real-world 'take' on what is useful for the careers of alumni and students, and we're thrilled to have her voice added to the board."
"I am honored and excited to serve on the board," said Roller. "It's an opportunity to give back to a place that challenged me at my most creative levels and exposed me to so many new and exciting ideas and people."
Prior to attending Berklee, Roller earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a vocalist, she performs regularly in Nashville's jazz clubs.
