The valedictorian from the Oakland School for the Arts will perform at the Monterey Jazz Festival in September.

The show wasn’t just a concert—it was a celebration of identity, community, and collaboration. For many, it marked a turning point—not just for SASA, but for the broader South Asian community on Berklee’s Boston campus. 

Students from around the world gain real-world music industry experience through hands-on artist branding, marketing, and content strategy work.
