On April 28, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the dedication of the Teresa Koster Charitable Fund Room, a resource room for the Music Therapy Department in Berklee’s Haviland Street building.

Teresa Koster, made a generous gift to support the facility. She is the division president at Gallagher Koster, a leading full-service independent insurance program for education. Koster’s partnership with the Music Therapy Department began in 2004, when she established the Teresa Koster Charitable Fund, an endowed scholarship that supports a deserving Music Therapy Department student each year. She is also a member of Berklee’s presidential advisory council, and the cochair of Berklee’s Encore Gala.
