It’s never too soon for kids to begin exploring, appreciating, and learning about music. KidsJam is a free early childhood music education program provided to the Boston-area community by the Music Education Department at Berklee College of Music.

The program runs weekly at Berklee’s Cafe 939 during the academic year and holds special events in the summer months. It is designed to introduce young children to a variety of activities essential to a well-rounded music education. These include singing and sound exploration; moving; playing instruments; creating, listening, and responding to music; as well as learning about a variety of musical concepts and instruments.

After winning over kids and parents alike for the past several years, KidsJam will return for the 2017 Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival. Berklee faculty, staff, and music education students will conduct free sessions throughout the day. The KidsJam crew welcomes kids of all ages to join them in wonderful musical experiences that are both fun and educational. Don't miss it.
