Biography

Francesca "Frankie" Frederick B.F.A. ‘16 is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and currently works as director of institutional advancement at the Atlanta Ballet. Prior to that, she served as senior manager of visitor services at the Paley Center for Media in New York City. Her interest in the arts began as a child. She pursued her passion for dance through college at Boston Conservatory, now Boston Conservatory at Berklee. After graduating, she transitioned to her current career as an arts administrator.

An avid arts supporter, Frederick believes it is essential to support organizations and institutions that are meaningful to her. She currently serves on the Conservatory's alumni committee and regularly volunteers as an admissions ambassador. Recently, she worked with fellow alumnus and Conservatory faculty member Kurt Douglas to name a chair in the Conservatory theater after former teacher Donna Silva. Frederick also serves as a volunteer usher for TDF's autism-friendly performances and attends events at all of her former places of employment, including Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Purpose Productions, and Manhattan School of Music.
