The Office of Health and Wellness manages several initiatives to support students' physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
Care, Assessment, Response, Evaluation, Success (CARES)
The CARES team at Berklee exists to help students in distress who may be experiencing challenging or difficult life circumstances while in school. We are a team of staff members from areas around the institution who are dedicated to supporting the success, achievement, and wellbeing of every member of Berklee's student body.

Reach Out is a donor-funded initiative that aims to promote, encourage, and support healthy behaviors and decision-making for Berklee students. Reach Out assists in providing specific education, outreach, programming, and resources on substance use and abuse; sexual assault and interpersonal violence and abuse; and mental health awareness.

Student Allies in Anti-Violence Education (SAAVE)
Berklee SAAVE is a community of students seeking a foundational body of knowledge and skills to reduce and prevent the impact of sexual misconduct and gender-based harm. Equipped with a dynamic understanding of related issues, students feel empowered to create a safer and more inclusive environment at Berklee and beyond. Berklee SAAVE strives to be a safe space in which all narratives and communities are celebrated. Members are expected to respect and support one another, and are encouraged to challenge each other in pursuit of growth, both individually and collectively.
