The mission of Health and Wellness is to foster a lifelong ethic of care so that students may thrive during and after their time at Berklee; to affirm students’ personal and social identities and experiences; and to create safe, compassionate, healing, inclusive spaces that inspire learning, positive growth, and global citizenship.
Health and Wellness programs and services are offered through two separate areas that support all aspects of students' wellbeing and growth: Counseling Services and Student Wellness Promotion and Services.
Counseling Services
Professionally trained and licensed clinicians offer free, confidential services to all Berklee students to address depression and anxiety, stress management, relationship and family concerns, sexual assault or harassment, substance abuse, wellness, crisis intervention, and any other concern impacting their mental health.
Student Wellness Promotion and Services
Student Wellness Promotion and Services offers programming, education, services, and resources to set students up for success during and after their time at Berklee. Through a holistic approach, the Student Wellness Promotion and Services team guides students in developing the skills to promote performance, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
Survivor Advocacy Services
Confidential advocacy services are available to students impacted by sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and/or sexual harassment. The survivor advocate may provide emotional support and assist students with safety planning, requesting accommodations, and understanding their rights around reporting their experiences.
