What does a Business Manager & Controller do?
A business manager and controller oversees the financial operations of an orchestra, theater company, ensemble, or other performing-arts organization. The role develops and monitors budgets, maintains financial records, reviews expenses and invoices, coordinates payroll and reimbursements, supports tax and regulatory reporting, approves purchases within delegated authority, and provides financial information to organizational leaders and department heads.
