Jeffrey Alex Edelstein (Jae)
Jeffrey Alex Edelstein (Jae) joined the Accessibility Resources for Students team in August 2023. He holds degrees in music and management information systems from Florida State University (FSU), an M.A. in higher education administration from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Higher Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Jae identifies as neurodivergent and has been working on improving the experiences of neurodivergent and disabled students since 2014. In his undergraduate studies, Jae was a piano principal and accompanist. He also performed for three years in the FSU Flying High Circus as a juggler, and will happily teach anyone to juggle—just ask! Jae's hobbies include collecting books he’ll never read, listening to podcasts, gaming (board, tabletop, and video), learning Japanese, and spending time with their partner, as well as their dog, Goose. He can frequently be found wandering around Newbury Comics.
Edelstein can help neurodivergent students find community and social support at Berklee. You can schedule a meeting with Jae through their Calendly, or by emailing them at jedelstein2@berklee.edu.
