LGBTQ+ Liaison Officer

Officer Kate Chuilli took the initiative to establish the LGBTQ+ liaison position in March of 2022, with full support from the Berklee Police Department command staff, as part of an effort to enhance community outreach and trust between the LGBTQ+ community and the department. She was the ninth officer in the United States to complete the LGBT Liaison Academy, which is accredited by the California Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission.
