Narrated by John Edward Hasse, curator of American music at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, and hosted by Darla Hanley, this is an evening of music in celebration of the centennials of beloved jazz artists Ella Fitzgerald and Dizzy Gillespie. The performances will feature Sean Jones (trumpet); Steve Bailey, (bass); and Patrice Williamson and Maureen McMullan (voice). Hasse is the 2017–2018 Herb Alpert Scholar in Residence in Berklee's Professional Education Division.
