Parents and Families
See Family Orientation to learn how you can participate.
Orientation is divided into three parts: Berklee Launch, Berklee Live, and Berklee 101.
Throughout each part, your remote student launch team will be there, checking in with you every morning and facilitating your experience of the day.
This is the place to find all your presemester information.
An overview of the schedule is available now, but the complete orientation schedule will be in Guidebook. Make sure you download the app a few days in advance in order to check out the specific sessions you need to attend.
Make sure to check your admissions portal for all your prelaunch tasks (College students; Conservatory students). In order to check in for the semester and to start your classes, you will need to complete each of these tasks. Many of these can be completed now, but if you have any issues, we will have team members available to assist you on Friday, August 28.
We know that auditions can be stressful in the best of times. Make sure you are prepared for your audition and know how to sign up for an audition time. Learn about placement auditions and assessments.
Some of the orientation presentations are prerecorded and available at the beginning of orientation. Others will be added after the live presentations are complete.
Even after orientation ends, you can lean on your remote student launch team throughout the year for questions about navigating Berklee's programs, departments, and resources.
You can also browse our Student Services and Support site to find out how to get things done remotely.
To learn more about Berklee's physical campus, including our state-of-the-art facilities, classrooms, and performance spaces, we encourage you to take a virtual tour.
