Meghan Stabile
Meghan Stabile is a music industry trailblazer whose approach to arts advocacy, sonic innovation, and producing landmark live events has earned her a reputation as one of the most forward-thinking minds in modern music. A New York Times profile described Stabile as “a woman on a curious mission: to make jazz matter to the hip-hop generation, and to do so as a young woman in a jazz world dominated by older men, at a time when both jazz itself and the recording industry feel decreasingly relevant.”
A Berklee College of Music alumna, Stabile began producing concerts under the first iteration of the Revive brand, Revive da Live. This intersectional performance series married improvisational jazz and hip-hop to interpolate standards and reimagine music in completely new ways. A lifelong commitment to educating audiences about the symbiotic relationship of musical genres has enabled Stabile to produce a number of major collaborations and original series since then.
Stabile is currently the president and chief executive officer of Revive Music Group (RMG), after being handpicked and signed as an executive producer for Blue Note Records by president Don Was. Records from Otis Brown III, Marcus Strickland’s Twi-Life, and the first partnered label compilation featuring 40+ musicians are a few of the accomplishments attributed to the RMG and Blue Note Records partnership. Additionally, Stabile continues her role as creative and brand consultant to a number of independent artists and works diligently to help grow the global jazz scene community through annual concert productions in partnership with festivals, presenters, and organizations worldwide.
