Core Music Curriculum

The foundation of a Berklee education is the core music curriculum, composed of courses in arranging, conducting, ear training, harmony, tonal harmony and counterpoint, and music technology. Entering students take the proficiency assessment and Introduction to Music Technology exam to ensure placement in the appropriate first-semester core courses.
