Spring 2026 New Student Orientation: Tuesday, January 13–Saturday, January 17

Spring undergraduate orientation is for Berklee College of Music students entering their first semester. It is designed as a week of welcome before the spring semester begins and focuses on helping students build social and artistic connections.

Note: Move-in day for students living on campus is Tuesday, January 13. The first full day of orientation, or the "Launch Day," for residential and off-campus students, is Wednesday, January 15. The full week of new student orientation is required, or mandatory. If students have families visiting, we will have some in-person Family Welcome Celebration events. Upcoming Virtual New Student and Family Drop-In Question-and-Answer Sessions

We will be hosting a virtual question-and-answer (Q&A) sessions to make sure you feel fully confident and connected to us at Berklee. Drop in anytime during the two-hour session and we will be ready to support you. This is open to both new students and family members.

Glide Orientation App

The Glide orientation app is our key to sharing both the orientation schedule and Welcome Week schedule with parents and families. This schedule can be viewed on the mobile app or on a web browser. The schedule includes dates, times, locations, and descriptions for all events. The complete schedule will available for view on January 9, 2026.

Orientation Overview

All entering students will be placed in a cohort with about 20 other new Berklee students, and each cohort will meet daily during orientation. These groups will be led by a community connector, undergraduate student leaders who connect students to Berklee resources as well as facilitate social connections during the transition to Berklee. At orientation, entering students will attend resource fairs, open houses, specialized sessions and workshops, and a variety of social events to help launch their Berklee experience and make sure they're informed and connected with a variety of resources and with their peers.

Pre-Arrival Onboarding Tasks

New students must check the "Next Steps" section of the application portal(Opens in a new window) and clear any restrictions listed on their account. Next steps include important tasks, such as paying the tuition bill, submitting required immunization paperwork, and submitting a final high school transcript. Students should have received login information to set up their Berklee email/OnePass account, which is required to complete tasks in the next steps for the enrollment checklist. In addition, students need their OnePass to access their Berklee email account, which is where they will receive all official school communications and access important student-facing resources found on the school’s internal sites (berklee.edu, bostonconservatory.berklee.edu, college.berklee.edu).
