General Move-In Overview
All entering students who have been confirmed for housing for the fall, spring or summer semester can move in during their assigned time block, which will be communicated with them prior to their arrival. Continuing students are permitted to arrive on campus on the advertised move-in day after 5:00 p.m.
General Move-In Frequently Asked Questions
When do I move in?
One month before move-in, all students confirmed for housing will receive an email with their assigned move-in time slot. You can move in to the residence halls any time during or after that assigned slot, but not earlier. Time slots are assigned to ensure a smooth move-in experience and to cut down on wait times.
What is move-in like?
During assigned move-in blocks, students will report directly to their assigned residence hall to pick up a room key. There will be staff available to welcome you and answer any questions you might have. Movers are only available during the fall semester move-in date.
Is there parking available on move-in day?
Due to the urban nature of Berklee's campus, we do not have any street parking available on move-in day. Spaces for unloading vehicles will be available at all residence halls. After your vehicle is unloaded, however, it must be moved to a parking garage of your choosing.
Can I send things to campus before move-in day?
Students can mail belongings to campus before move-in day using the address below. All packages will be held at the Mail Center at 1108 Boylston St. Any packages mailed to the residence halls will be returned to sender. Packages for new incoming students cannot be accepted more than seven days before the advertised move in date.

Can I switch rooms on move-in day if I don't like my assigned room?
On move-in day, our spaces on campus are fully occupied. If you are interested in moving, reach out to the professional staff member overseeing your area during your first few weeks on campus to discuss the room change process.
