In a recent trip to Bogota, Colombia, Panos A. Panay spoke with Semana about Berklee's efforts to encourage innovation and creativity in students and applying this knowledge in their country. 

Panay attended the Bogota Music Market (BOmm), an opportunity for musicians to showcase their talents internationally. In this interview, translated into Spanish, Panay praises the rich cultural and musical resources in Colombia, speaking on the importance of learning to think creatively and seek solutions as musicians. Additionally he touches upon the value of music as a tool to develop younger generations and creating a bridge between different cultures and languages.
