Ever wonder what it takes to land a gig on the production team for a major video game? Or how about how sound and music will be used in virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed-reality technology? What is "mixed reality," anyway? And what can you do to have a competitive edge over the hundreds of other video game and techonolgy fans applying for the same positions?

Join Justine Taormino, associate director of Alumni Affairs, as she leads a panel discussion about storytelling through sound and music, and how technology is constantly shifting the audio landscape.

Panelists include:

  • Austin DeVries B.M. '15, sound designer, Riot Games
  • Jess Garcia '15, associate sound designer/first assistant, the Sound Lab at Technicolor

Seating is limited. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the program will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
