Arielle is a music industry triple threat—singer, songwriter, and guitar player—who has combined those gifts to create a unique artistry that defies genres. The Nashville, Tennessee, artist recently opened for Eric Johnson on a three-month tour, and has played with or opened for Vince Gill, Gregg Allman, Heart, Joan Jett, Country Joe McDonald, and many others. Arielle’s single “California” reached no. 3 on CMT Pure Charts. She is the guitar player for Avery on the television show Nashville. Her voice has been compared to those of Karen Carpenter and Eva Cassidy for its purity and four-octave range.
Arielle, who has an associate degree from the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles, studied at London’s Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. Queen’s Brian May created a guitar role specifically for her in the West End musical We Will Rock You. She also played guitar on tour with CeeLo Green. Her most recent release, My Gypsy Heart, which features classic folk rock, debuted for eight weeks on Billboard charts in 11 different categories.
Arielle is a dolphin and whale activist who is working with May on a unique guitar line based on Two-Tone, her custom prototype. Whether playing or singing, she never feels the need to show off. Indeed, Arielle believes less is more when expressing experiences through song. “The hardships and the insecurities are the reasons why I’m able to be vulnerable and real,” she says.
