Ty-Juana L. Flores
Ty-Juana L. Flores is an Afro-Latina with Panamanian roots from Roxbury, Massachusetts, and is dedicated to building a better world through education and the performing arts. As an experienced arts administrator, she has held diverse roles across design, higher education, philanthropy, and city government. Prior to her career in higher education, she worked for several New York City private-label companies and design studios, producing womenswear apparel for prominent brands including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Lord & Taylor.
Over the years, Flores has been a vital change agent and contributor to Berklee’s campus culture. As the director of Student Success Programs, she provides oversight, strategic leadership, implementation, and assessment for a comprehensive portfolio of initiatives which include the Berklee Scholars Program and the RISE program, which are rooted in improving student retention and graduation through a personal, artistic, and professional lens. Acting as a student-centric bridge between Student Enrollment and Engagement (SEE) and Academic Affairs, she ensures all success programming aligns closely with Berklee's mission and strategic goals.
Outside of Berklee, she loves to travel, writes about food and beverage culture, and enjoys visiting art museums and creative spaces both locally and abroad.
