Full Biography
Destiny Wilkey has been at Berklee since 2024 and currently serves as the assistant director of operations for student involvement. In this role, Destiny supports operational initiatives and student involvement efforts that foster an inclusive, supportive environment where students feel a strong sense of belonging and are empowered to grow. Her work centers on student engagement, leadership development, and creating intentional programs and systems that connect students to the Berklee community.

Prior to her current role, Destiny served as assistant director of audition & interviews/recruitment experience at Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. In that position, she worked closely with students and families, navigating the audition process, providing calm, solutions-focused support, and connecting them to appropriate campus resources. She collaborated cross-departmentally with Admissions and Recruitment teams to support student well-being, global events, and large-scale programs. Destiny also served on the Culture & Community Committee and supported the Black Scholars Initiative as a former mentor, reinforcing Berklee’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and holistic student wellness.

Before joining Berklee, Destiny worked at Georgia State University as a campus visit coordinator, where she supported students and families during high-volume visit programs, supervised and trained student ambassadors, and collaborated with campus partners to address urgent student needs. Earlier in her career, she held roles in public relations, marketing, and arts administration, supporting wellness-focused programming, independent artists, and inclusive music initiatives.
