The Emperor is about to be duped by the conmen/tailors Loo Roo and Bob. They have promised to create him a "special new outfit" that only smart people can see. The Musical Theater for Young Audiences and Contemporary Musical Theater initiatives at Berklee present The Emperor's New Clothes, an original children's musical written by Rene Pfister, assistant professor of voice. This hilarious retelling of the classic story comes alive with a funky pop and jazz score including "History Ain't All It's Cracked Up to Be," "I've Never Seen Anything Like It" and "Chic." Perfect for school groups, this show is appropriate for ages four and up.
Please note: The ticket policy for this performance is that every person needs a ticket, including children of any age.
