Katherine (Katt) Sparks is a licensed social worker with seven years of experience working in community mental health, crisis management, and counseling. She received both her B.A. and M.S.W. from University at Buffalo, before moving back home to the Bronx, New York, where she worked in supported employment and youth aging out of foster care. She also has a background in vocal performance, which provides a strong understanding of the pressures and work ethic of artistic students. Sparks specializes in life transitions, depression, anxiety, self-esteem building, and crisis management. As a woman of Latina and Black descent, she enjoys exploring how culture, family, and societal norms affect our own inner voice and decision-making.
Outside of the office, Sparks enjoys listening to various podcasts, binge-watching a good show or documentary, relaxing with her spoiled pup, and exploring her new home of Massachusetts.
