A Message from the President
Commencement represents the culmination of extraordinary commitment and effort by our graduating students and the nurturing and support of family and loved ones. Through a series of events over the course of two days, our community comes together to celebrate our new graduates as they embark on their next phase of life.
This section of the website is designed to answer the most frequently asked questions about Berklee's commencement weekend, which will be held May 11–12, 2018. Here you will find a schedule of events; information about the ceremony and this year's honorary degree recipients (when they are announced); and details about invitations and tickets, dining and lodging, directions and parking, and other helpful suggestions for making this weekend a memorable experience for you and your guests. A highlight of the weekend is the concert held the night before the ceremony, at which our students pay tribute to the music and lives of our honorary degree recipients: Rosanne Cash, Nile Rodgers, and Esperanza Spalding. I encourage you to attend.
You may also enjoy exploring our coverage of past Berklee commencements, including videos of speeches from some of our notable honorary doctorate recipients, photo galleries, press releases, webcasts, feature stories, interviews, and more.
If you have any additional questions about commencement, please email our graduation specialist.
On behalf of the entire Berklee community, I extend congratulations to the graduating class of 2018. We look forward to celebrating with you in May!
