Full Biography

Collin Smith (they/them) joined Berklee in February 2026 as Student Involvement’s Coordinator of Campus Programs and Traditions. In this role, they design, plan, and implement campus programming to support student life and engage students outside of the classroom. They also oversee and execute campus traditions, like Welcome Week and Mingus Madness, to bring campus spirit to the Berklee community. 

Prior to joining Berklee, Collin worked at their alma mater, Suffolk University, first as the administrative coordinator in the Student Affairs office and then as the operations coordinator in Orientation, New Student, and Family Programs. In these roles, they gained experience creating programming designed to introduce students to campus life and the city of Boston. They also managed operations of large-scale programming and events with a staff of student leaders.

Collin has a bachelor's of arts degree in History and Theatre from Suffolk University. Outside of work, they are a freelance playwright and director, with a special interest in the development of new work. Collin also has a cat at home, Foley, who enjoys belly rubs and cuddles. They will provide a picture of their cat if he comes up in conversation.
