Women in Peril is a Boston based emo-rock band who have coined the term "dog rock" to describe their music. Women in Peril is composed of all Berklee students: Chase Lipman (they/them), Soraya Rafat (she/her), Kalika Reece (he/they/she), Jaxon Lane (he/him/they), and Daisy Soper (she/her), who are avid players of the Boston DIY scene. Their debut EP Can I Hold You was released earlier this year on all streaming platforms. If you want to scream, laugh, dance, and cry all in the same set, come see Women in Peril.
Yet To Bloom is a pop-punk/pop-rock band from Boston. Although born and raised in different parts of Hong Kong and the United States, the group united via an Instagram poll while studying at Berklee—forming the lineup of Claire Hudson (vocals/guitar), Ray Lee (guitar), and Billie Bentil (bass). Fueled by twinkly leads, catchy hooks, and self-aware lyrics, Yet To Bloom authentically narrates their collective coming-of-age experience. With diversity at the forefront, the band leverages their individual influences and creates a combination that is undeniably great.
