Roots Roadshow: Hazel Royer & Moriah Ozberkmen
Hazel Royer is a Boston-based upright and electric bassist and singer studying bass performance at Berklee. She plays a variety of styles including folk, bluegrass, old-time, rock, and blues. She grew up playing music with her father in the Boston music scene.
Moriah Ozberkmen is from Salt Lake City, Utah. She is working towards her degree in mandolin performance at Berklee. Her favorite styles include bluegrass, old-time, celtic, folk, and progressive bluegrass. Her time is joyously consumed by studying, jamming, performing, teaching, and volunteering.
