The Red Room at Cafe 939 proudly presents Fresh Prospects, a free concert series spotlighting emerging artists. Curated by Berklee students with an ear for talent, this series offers an intimate glimpse into the music scene’s future, featuring local performers making waves and capturing attention.
Boston-based instrumental progressive metal band Flora strives to push forward the boundaries of music. They craft emotive compositions that engage the listener, creating a sound that is as visceral as it is cerebral. Blending dizzying rhythms, lush harmonies, and soulful melodies, Flora delivers a dynamic and unpredictable sonic landscape that resists convention. They are currently working on their debut album.
The Sean Temme Group is a contemporary jazz ensemble that performs original music, creating dynamic soundscapes that appeal to all. Fronted by trumpeter and composer Sean Temme, the group stands out for its interesting mix of sounds and styles. The ensemble features Jackson Sena Grant on tenor saxophone, Sam Marston on piano, Nico Jin on bass, and Julian Pavone on drums.
