Baltimore singer-songwriter Ashley Kutcher distinguishes herself as the kind of raw talent who infuses a unique sense of vulnerability and honesty into her songs. Kutcher was pursuing a nursing degree when a local bar came across a video of her singing online and invited her to perform onstage. While still enrolled in college, Kutcher began to sing at local venues more regularly and produce songs on the side. In only the past year, what started out as a hobby has grown into a full-time career with a larger fanbase than she had ever thought possible. Her breakout single, “Love You from a Distance,” set TikTok on fire with a D.I.Y. performance from her bathroom floor, and quickly led to her eventual signing with Darkroom/Interscope Records. Amassing well over 100 million streams and 20 million TikTok views, Kutcher’s heartfelt honesty shines through in her debut EP, One Eighty. With her breakout year behind her, the 23-year old released “Love You More,” amassing over 100,000 TikTok creates. Most recently, Kutcher hit the road for the first time and performed live in New York and Los Angeles to two sold-out crowds. Kutcher is now back in the studio, ready to put the finishing touches on her debut album, which is set for release later this year and will be accompanied by more headlining shows.

Rosie Darling has certainly turned pain into beauty on her debut EP, Coping (via Nettwerk). With the release of each new track, Darling earned press support from FLAUNT, EARMILK, Under the Radar, PopMatters, Wonderland, and more, while garnering more than 60 YouTube features and an ever-loyal fanbase. With her first single and artist statement, “Coping,” Rosie amassed over 50 million combined streams, charting on 14 different Spotify Viral 50 charts and landing Top 20 on the Global Viral Chart. A talented team of songwriters, producers, and engineers reached out from the onset, wanting to collaborate, including Justin Gammella (FINNEAS, Ashe), producer Andy Seltzer (Chelsea Cutler, Shallou, Joan), mixer Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Florence and the Machine), and Joe Laporta (Halsey, JP Saxe, Gracie Abrams).

Coping is a time capsule, capturing the messier side of love and friendship, from heartbreak and loneliness to joyous revelry. It’s an intimate window into Rosie’s life, encased in a vulnerable kind of indie-pop. In the loneliness of her 20s, in isolation and amidst an increasingly digital world, Golden Age (Rosie’s second EP) captures big, pent-up feelings from the past two years and pairs them with her signature flowing melodies and gut wrenching lyrics.
