Ruby Stardrum is a licensed mental health counselor whose prior experience includes working with adolescents, emerging adults, children, and families in schools, universities, and community mental health settings. Prior to entering the mental health counseling field, she was a teacher for several years. She holds a bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University, a master’s degree in mental health counseling from University of Massachusetts, Boston, and a master’s degree in education from Bank Street College of Education.
Areas of speciality include Internal Family Systems therapy, mindfulness, and LGBTQ+ mental health and identity development. She believes in each person’s capacity for growth and healing, and she strives to support students in developing their own internal resources for long-term change. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, hiking, reading, gardening, and playing board games.
