Biography

Laura Alluxe Escudé, a.k.a. Alluxe, an international music producer, controllerist, violinist, and live show designer, has been an important figure in some of the most revered concerts around the globe. She has been a DJ, programmer, and designer for shows by Kanye West, Bon Iver, Jay Z, Miguel, Charli XCX, Demi Lovato, and the Weeknd.

Escudé is a classically trained violinist, Ableton Certified Trainer, and chief executive officer and founder of Electronic Creatives, a team of talented programmers and controllerists.

Her alter ego, Alluxe, is an electronic music producer and controllerist who uses futuristic, high-tech gear. Alluxe delivers an expansive sound, complemented by an alluring stage presence, complete with custom LED controllers, vocals, and violin. With music that borrows from the classical and modern world, her dramatic builds and gritty, razor-sharp percussion give a dense, cinematic feel (a nod to her classical training). Her signature sound features hip-hop meeting bass music—banging, futuristic, growling electronic beats. Alluxe mixes original compositions, improvised beats, and violin loop seamlessly. Her most recent EP, Contrast, was released in 2016.
