Biography

Ashley Rodriguez is a Puerto Rican American singer, dancer, and television personality. For the last three years, she has toured as a featured background dancer and singer for pop superstar Lana Del Rey, performing at some of today’s biggest global music festivals such as Lollapalooza, the Montreux Jazz Festival, Osheaga, and Electric Picnic, among others. She's featured in Del Rey’s latest music videos “Venice B*tch,” “Mariners Apartment Complex,” and “Lust for Life.”

With a career of over 10 years, Rodriguez has recorded and toured extensively with some of the industry's biggest names. As a backing vocalist and dancer, she has performed with John Legend and Robin Thicke, and television appearances include those with Nick Jonas, Jason Derulo, Kylie Minogue, and Kelly Clarkson. She has been featured on Grammy-nominated albums and film soundtracks, and has worked in television on Good Morning America, The Today Show, Live with Regis & Kelly, The View, and The Tonight Show, among others.

After completing her B.M. in music business/management at Berklee College of Music in 2009, Rodriguez began her career when she reached the Top 24 on the hit reality show American Idol. Since early 2019, Rodriguez is continuing her television work by serving as a correspondent on Steve Harvey's daytime TV show Steve, where she voices her opinions on current events and society for his advice segment, “Straight Talk.”

Rodriguez resides in Brooklyn, New York, where she spearheads her digital media company, FREE.ARTST.MVMT, writing and producing content, including her own mini-documentary series, Life According to Ash, which is set to release this summer.
