The Red Room at Cafe 939 proudly presents Fresh Prospects, a free concert series spotlighting emerging artists. Curated by Berklee students with an ear for talent, this series offers an intimate glimpse into the music scene’s future, featuring local performers making waves and capturing attention.
Natalia Skorupka is a Polish vocalist, performer, and arranger and a full-scholarship recipient at Berklee College of Music, where she is pursuing dual degrees in contemporary writing and production and vocal performance. She holds a master's degree in music therapy from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland, and has received numerous awards, including first place at the 40th Rawa Blues Festival with her band, Coffee Experiment.
At Berklee, Skorupka has performed as a backing vocalist for Tia Fuller's the Prince Project and presented her own arrangement at the George Martin Reimagined concert at the Berklee Performance Center. She also founded the BLEU Project, collaborating with Polish saxophonist Maciej Foryś and students from the Berklee Global Jazz Institute. Blending Slavic folk, jazz, and contemporary sounds, her music draws inspiration from Polish poetry and artists such as Tigran Hamasyan, Gregory Porter, and Sting. Through intimate storytelling, the BLEU Project explores themes of longing, loneliness, reflection, hope, and faith.
Tommy Creighton is a 20-year-old guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer who blends jazz fusion, funk, jam band, and neo-soul into groove-driven instrumental music. Studying at Berklee College of Music under Professor Tomo Fujita, he focuses on memorable melodies, dynamic solos, deep grooves, and modern tones.
He has extensive touring, performance, and session experience, having worked with Sam Greenfield, Eric Marienthal, Darren Barrett, and numerous other artists across a wide range of genres. He has also shared the stage with his mentor, Cory Wong, who invited him to perform alongside Victor Wooten and Nate Smith at Wong's annual summer music camp.
His debut EP, Still Deciding, featuring five original compositions recorded at Berklee's studios, was released on September 18, 2026.
