Fresh Prospects Presents: Frogs / LOSER

The Red Room at Cafe 939 proudly presents Fresh Prospects, a free concert series spotlighting emerging artists. Curated by Berklee students with an ear for talent, this series offers an intimate glimpse into the music scene’s future, featuring local performers making waves and capturing attention.

Frogs is a Boston-based post-hardcore/indie punk band formed in late 2023. Blending the raw energy of the ’90s DIY punk scene with elements of math and indie rock, Frogs have quickly established themselves as a mainstay of Boston’s DIY community.

LOSER is a Boston-based punk band that focuses on writing and playing fast, energetic, passionate, socially conscious and emotionally touching music to anyone, anywhere, and anytime. With infectious hooks and primal punk rock energy, LOSER writes songs about the impact that indifference has on society, the down side to modern day frat culture, and even about how much they love their mothers. Their debut album, No Thanks to College, came out in February 2026, and they don't plan to stop there. This summer they recorded at Inner Ear Studio in Virginia and plan to release a six song EP this fall.
