Five-Week Spotlight Concert
The Aspire: Five-Week Music Performance Intensive concert series shines the spotlight on students and their ensembles. This series is the culmination of five weeks of intensive music study demonstrating a love of music and extraordinary dedication to music education. These ensembles have various musical styles, including jazz, rock, funk, fusion, pop, salsa, and bluegrass.
The Five-Week Spotlight Concert highlights the Balkan Middle Eastern Fusion Ensemble, which explores a vibrant blend of musical traditions and contemporary styles, drawing from Balkan, Middle Eastern, jazz, rock, and funk influences.
The concert also features specially selected Five-Week Ensembles that exemplified excellence throughout the program, and concludes with the Five-Week Singer Showcase, a spectacular demonstration of the moving power of the human voice, directed by David Alexis.
