Five-Week Center Stage Concert
The Aspire: Five-Week Music Performance Intensive concert series shines the spotlight on students and their ensembles. This series is the culmination of five weeks of intensive music study demonstrating a love of music and extraordinary dedication to music education. These ensembles have various musical styles, including jazz, rock, funk, fusion, pop, rock, salsa, and bluegrass.
The Five-Week Jazz Choir will offer exciting vocal arrangements in the style of iconic groups such as the Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices, Syncopation, and Vox One, followed by an exciting evening of Broadway production, which includes a stellar orchestra and cast members performing selections from Legally Blonde: The Musical, an award-winning, high-energy adaptation of the hit 2001 film. Rounding out the evening’s performances we welcome specially selected singer-songwriters performing original works.
