Join us in the Fenway for the Tiny Stage concert series, presented by Time Out Market. March performances celebrate Women's History Month featuring Berklee female artists.
Rijah shapes layers of luminous harmony and uplifting vulnerability through candid lyrics and thoughtful arrangements. She fuses the soul of her hometown—Jersey City, New Jersey—with the jazz of Manhattan, sculpting a vivid self-portrait rooted in perseverance, growth, and human nature.
In September 2024, Rijah made her festival debut, sharing the stage with Norah Jones and Noah Kahan at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She also performed at the 2025 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.
In both 2023 and 2024, Rijah was featured in NPR’s Tiny Desk Top Shelf series with her songs “Up” and “House in Tattoos.”
“Acclaimed R&B singer-songwriter Baby Rose selected her entry as one of her favorites in the national NPR Tiny Desk Contest, with fellow judge Sudan Archives praising Rijah’s ‘amazing’ and ‘unique’ voice,” wrote WBUR’s Noah Schaffer.
Born from a deep exploration of self and the world around her, Rijah’s latest EP, Motion Pictures, bridges youth and adulthood through an innovative lens on R&B. Blending the intricacies of jazz with the lyrical and melodic sensibilities of her musical inspirations, she weaves a sonic tapestry that is both intimate and expansive. Motion Pictures is now available on all streaming platforms.
