Boston Conservatory at Berklee faculty Sarah Brady (flute), Susan Hagen (bass), Amanda Hardy (oboe), Charlotte Hu (piano), Paul Laraia (viola), Hyun Min Lee (cello), Michael Lewin (piano), Rane Moore (clarinet), Margaret Phillips (bassoon), and Yonah Zur (violin) perform works by Granillo, Poulenc, and Schubert.

Violist Jordan Bak has been hailed as “a powerhouse musician, with a strong voice and compelling sound” (The Whole Note). He will be joined by pianist Ji Yung Lee, an award-winning performer and vocal coach for Boston Lyric Opera. 

A gold medal winner in the Rubinstein Competition, pianist Angela Cheng will perform sonatas by Mozart and Beethoven, variations by Cecile Chaminade, and works by Chopin.

Canadian pianist Angela Cheng is a winner of the Arthur Rubinstein Competition and the Montreal International Piano Competition. Her master class with Boston Conservatory pianists is free and open to the public.

Don’t miss celebrated piano professor Michael Lewin in his only Boston recital of the season. The program will include sonatas by Clementi, Chopin, and Janáček, and works by Brahms and Liszt.

With his “dark-hued tone and razor-sharp technique” (New York Times), violinist Yevgeny Kutik presents a recital accompanied by prize-winning Boston pianist Dina Vainshtein.

Legendary pianist Boris Berman has performed in more than 50 countries, played with the world’s great orchestras, and recorded a large and diverse repertoire, including the complete works of Prokofiev and the sonatas of Scriabin.

One of the world’s most sought-after teachers, Boris Berman heads the Piano Department of Yale School of Music and conducts master classes throughout the world. He has been named an honorary professor of Shanghai Conservatory, Danish Royal Conservatory in Copenhagen, and China Conservatory. His master class with Boston Conservatory students is free and open to the public.

Acclaimed cellist Raman Ramakrishnan joins pianist Max Levinson in a recital of works by Debussy, Shostakovich, and Rachmaninoff.

Eminent Russian pianist Sofya Gulyak—the first woman to win the gold medal at the Leeds International Competition—presents a brilliant program focusing on “Liszt and his Dances.”
