beccs is an alternative pop artist hailed by NYLON as one of their “favorite cool girls” and by HuffPost as an “indie-pop vocalist of astonishing candor.” Holding up a mirror to herself and society at large, beccs confronts and heals audiences with a soul-stirring voice that is as dynamic as it is vulnerable.
A 2025 NYFA/NYSCA Artist Fellowship finalist and a 2024 official SXSW artist, beccs blends a playful modern pop sensibility with a powerful voice reminiscent of classic ’60s Laurel Canyon. Her music has been critically acclaimed by KCRW, Atwood, HuffPost Queer Voices, Refinery29, NYLON, Audiofemme, and LADYGUNN.
beccs’s latest EP, stay moist, featuring collaborators including queer feminist icon Bitch and Oscar-nominated Ian Chang of Son Lux, charted at #1 on CJSF 90.1 FM in British Columbia, was featured in KCRW’s “5 Songs To Hear This Week,” and earned recognition from NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest. beccs is currently finishing her debut full-length album, produced with Benjamin Lazar Davis, slated for release in 2026.
